
Scott Ballard
Principal Creative
With over 15 years of branding and advertising experience, Scott's expertise includes working with print media, interactive and broadcast design. He has experience working with national brands such as Clorox, Hidden Valley Ranch, Glad Trash Bags, Netflix, Pyramid Brewery, Starbucks, Natrol Vitamins, and MRI. Prior to working in agency environments Scott held Creative Director position for Promax Nutrition, where he managed all creative projects including web site creation, campaign design and brand placement strategies.
He was awarded the Macromedia Site of the Day Award, interviewed by How Magazine in recognition of his art direction in Schwing! Golf Magazine and has won several Addy and CUNA awards.
Scott received an Associates in Applied Arts of Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Seattle. Additionally, he attended The School of Visual Concepts in Seattle and Dale Carnegie Training in Oakland; CA. Scott is active family man, volunteering time with Cub Scout's and student parent association. Spends free time playing golf, snowboarding and playing his guitar.

Douglas Deibel
Principal Creative
With over 14 years of branding and design experience creating memorable campaigns for clients ranging from finical institutions, entertainment, construction, food and beverage, and biomedical. Douglas also specialized in packaging and creative solutions for the music and entertainment industry. The music industry contacts and experience rose from a successful career as a writer and performer in multiple music projects supported by tour, national radio and TV/Film placements (MGM, Spike TV, Disney, FOX TV, Universal, Warner).
Douglas also played quarterback for 3 minor league football franchises as well as 2 stints with the Stockton Lightning (AF2) training camps. Currently is competing in regional golf tournaments having qualified for The Golf Channel Amateur Tour Nationals in 2009 & USGA events.
Douglas' wide range of life experiences and expertise fuels his unique creative and strategic solutions.
Douglas Deibel studied Commercial Design/ Advertising with a minor in Psychology at Pacific Union College.

Dave comes to The Black Box Studios with branding, advertising and promotion skills honed on brands including: HoneyBaked Ham, Promax Energy Bars, Burger King, Nature Made Vitamins, Nature's Resource Herbal Products, Budweiser, Michelob, Blue Cross, AT&T, Hang Ten, SwimWays Pool Products, Astroglide, SpongeTech, Phone-Mate, and dozens of other blue chip brands.
Before becoming a client direct creative consultant, Dave worked with some of the world's largest ad agencies and breakthrough boutique agencies, including: D'Arcy Worldwide, Bozell Worldwide, Foote-Cone & Belding, Chiat-Day, Chickering-Howell, McCann Erickson, and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide.
Dave brings valuable broadcast scripting, production and directing experience to the mix with vast experience in a wide range of TV, radio, promotional and web video projects.
